Cardiologist sticks to work while family members get sick

In mid-December 2022, when COVID-19 broke out across much of China, the healthcare system was under enormous pressure. Many medical workers stuck to their posts, treated critically ill patients, and made great sacrifices for their work. CGTN has a series of mini stories on how doctors in Shenyang Hospital of China Medical University survived the peak period of infection. The episode tells the story of the cardiologist who supported Wuhan in the fight against the COVID-19 three years ago and is still on the front line of fighting the epidemic.

2022年12月中旬，当新冠病毒在中国大部分地区爆发时，医疗系统承受着巨大的压力。许多医务工作者坚守岗位，救治危重病人，为了工作做出巨大牺牲。 中国国际电视台（CGTN）为中国医科大学附属盛京医院医生在疫情高峰期的工作事迹拍摄了系列短片。本片讲述了一位三年前曾驰援武汉、至今仍奋战在抗疫一线的心血管内科专家的故事。
