The whole heart scan is a lengthy scan. For the best results it is very important to instruct the patient not to move during the scan.

The navigator beam should be placed at the center of the dome of the right hemidiaphragm. For 2/3 into the liver.

For the best results the trigger delay should be set to user defined. From the high temporal cine scan the moment that diastole starts (when heart stops moving) should be entered as trigger delay.

The TFE shot duration (acquisition duration) on the contrast page should match the resting period of the heart in diastole. If the acquisition duration is longer, cardiac motion blurring could occur. The TFE factor is displayed on the info page.

The foldover direction should be choosen such that ghosting of the slightly moving anterior chest wall is avoided. That is preferably in feet-head or left-right direction. If using left-right foldover you should use oversampling such that all anatomy in left-right direction is covered.
选择相位编码方向时,应当避免前胸壁产生运动伪影。最好选择头足方向或左右方向。如果使用使用左右相位编码方向,那么应打开过采样将左右方向上的所有组织给覆盖。
