Wang Xingpeng is proposed to be the director of Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center

According to Shanghai Municipality’s personnel appointment notification, Wang Xingpeng is proposed to be the secretary of party committee and director of Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center.

Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center was set up in September 2005 by Shanghai Municipal People's Government. It is in charge of the municipal state-owned assets investment in public medical institutions, management, operational responsibility subject and the government-run medical liability. From 2005, Chen Jianping has been the president.
Wang Xingpeng, the 53-year-old professor, is known for his management innovation. From 2012 Wang Xingpeng has been the president of Shanghai General Hospital (SGH). In 2012, he brought up three management principles of SGH: same quality, different emphases, and unified management. It means the two campuses of SGH should follow same medical quality, but focus on different specialties, and be management under one frame.
Before 2012, Wang Xingpeng had been the president of Shanghai Tenth People’s Hospital, vice president of Shanghai General Hospital. Wang Xingpeng also has decades’ experience of pancreatic disease and is an editorial board member of Pancreas.
